The R-30 daysailer is designed from the outset for both able-bodied sailors and wheelchair users, without distinction. The project does not adapt an existing boat for accessibility, but instead conceives a truly barrier-free sailing experience from the very beginning.

Performance and Sailing Experience
With sleek lines and a highly responsive conduction system comparable to that of a racing boat, the R-30 delivers dynamic performance while maintaining comfort. The commanding position is designed to be relaxing, intuitive, and enjoyable for all sailors.
Steering and Control Philosophy
The large steering wheel without spokes is a defining aesthetic and functional element. Unlike conventional systems for disabled sailors, it allows both handicapped and able-bodied users to steer from any position, preserving the classical steering feel and sensibility expected on a high-performance sailboat.
Adaptive Stability and Wheelchair Integration
To address the challenge of body movement during roll, the boat features a mobile rocker platform that allows the wheelchair to incline together with the boat. This system ensures comfort and safety and is controlled by a piston managed through a dedicated control unit.
