The C-40 is a sailing yacht designed to be comfortably and safely handled even by a single person, featuring ergonomic and functional solutions conceived to fully experience life at sea.

An Unconventional and Fully Custom Project
Breaking away from conventional designs, the C-40 was conceived from the very beginning to ensure simple and efficient sailing, even when sailed solo. Developed as a fully custom project, the yacht represents an original synthesis of functionality, design, and the direct experience of her owner.
Wooden Construction and Collaborative Design Process
The C-40 is built using cedar strip planking on a strong marine plywood and mahogany structure, materials that enhance the elegance of wood and reflect traditional boatbuilding craftsmanship. The project was developed through close collaboration between the owner, Comuzzi Yachts Design, and Cantiere Navale De Cesari of Cervia, with the aim of creating a yacht perfectly tailored to specific personal needs, offering innovative solutions for those who love the sea in complete freedom.
Interior Layout and Spatial Continuity
The interiors are designed to provide a strong sense of visual continuity and spaciousness, developing into a single large open-plan area. Enclosed spaces are limited to the guest cabin and the bathroom, both located aft, creating a clean, modern, and welcoming interior environment.
Cockpit Living and Outdoor Comfort
The spacious and carefully designed cockpit enhances outdoor living. The central console integrates a large refrigerator and a sink, while the seating areas can be transformed into sunbeds thanks to innovative fold-down backrests, offering flexibility and comfort at all times.
Centralized Control and Deck Accessibility
One of the key features of the design is the full centralization of all sailing maneuvers on the helm console, allowing complete control of the yacht from a single position, assisted by two electric winches. Access from the cockpit to the deck has been rethought through a ramp system that eliminates any level changes, while a stern swim platform ensures easy and comfortable access to the sea.
