Founded by architect and designer Alessandro Comuzzi, the shipyard is dedicated to following each owner from the first sketch to the moment the yacht touches the sea — and beyond.
Our Story
Comuzzi Yachts was born from the desire to provide every client with complete, personalized service. From defining the perfect design in line with the owner’s needs, to building the yacht and all its components, to providing attentive after-sales support — we ensure a seamless and exclusive experience.
Our semi-custom approach allows us to start from proven platforms and create countless variations, offering a balance between reliability and customization. Thanks to skilled local artisans and a close relationship with the designer throughout every stage of construction, we are able to optimize processes and integrate changes whenever required.

The Designer Behind the Brand
Background and Education
Born in Udine, Italy, Alessandro graduated in Architecture at the IUAV – Institute of Architecture of Venice, with a thesis dedicated to Yacht Design. Since 2004, he has collaborated with leading architectural firms while developing expertise within French and Italian yacht design studios. His portfolio includes projects for international design competitions, where his innovative approach has often been recognized.
From Architecture to Yachting
In 2013, Alessandro founded his own studio, Alessandro Comuzzi Architect, focusing on yacht design, architecture, and industrial design. Alongside his professional work, he has always been passionate about sailing and regularly competes in regattas across various boat classes. This direct experience on the water allows him to merge theory, practice, and performance into every yacht he designs.
A Philosophy of Design
Alessandro believes that cross-pollination between different cultural and design environments is the key to contemporary and sustainable innovation. In 2021, he established Comuzzi Yachts with the mission of guiding every client personally through the entire journey: from design to sailing.
